Important Information
School Hours:
Whole school Morning Meeting starts at 8:05
Dismissal occurs at 2:45 PM
Math:
Basic addition and subtraction facts within 20 must be memorized by June. Please practice these facts often at home. We will also be practicing in school as well.
Tests:
Tests are given in Spelling, Religion, Reading, Vocabulary, Math, Social Studies, and Science. Textbooks, notebooks, and study guides will be sent home for you to help your child study.
Social Studies & Science:
We will alternate between Social Studies and Science Units. Each unit will take a few weeks to complete.
Correspondence From Home:
Notes are needed when your child is:
-going to be a walker/rider instead of the bus
-leaving early because of an appointment
-coming in late because of an appointment
-staying after school
-returning to school after an absence

Birthday Celebrations/Parties:
Small snacks such as cupcakes, cookies, or brownies can be brought to school to share with the class at lunch. Birthday party invitations can be handed out in school if the entire class is being invited or all of the boys or all of the girls.
First Reconciliation/First Communion:
Information regarding these sacraments will come from the religious education office. If you know that your child will not be receiving these sacraments at St. Ambrose, please let me know. Also, baptismal information needs to be on file in the school office.
